General information
The following information gives a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally.
Data collection on this website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data on this website is processed by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the
legal notice of this website.
How do we collect your data?
On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This may be, for example, data you enter
in a contact form. Other data is collected automatically or, after your consent, by our IT systems when you
visit the website. This is mainly technical data (e.g. web browser, operating system or time of the page
view).
2. Hosting and content delivery networks (CDN)
We host our website with Vercel. The provider is Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133 Covina, CA 91723, USA. Vercel collects technical data of visitors to our website in order to ensure the operation of the website.

Data protection
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
4. Data collection on this website
Contact form / email enquiries
If you send us enquiries via the contact form or by email, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, are stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent.
To send the messages from our contact form we use the email service Resend (Resend, Inc., San Francisco, USA). Your details (name, email address, optionally company and phone number, chosen topic and message; for the free website audit form, email address and website address) are transmitted to Resend and delivered from there to us as an email. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or to pre-contractual measures; otherwise our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Resend; the transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.
Appointment booking (Cal.com)
On our "Book a demo" page (/en/gtm-engineering/demo) you can book an appointment for an online demo. For this we use the service Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc., San Francisco, USA). First you answer four short questions; your answers and contact details are sent to us (see contact form). The booking calendar is only loaded once you submit these questions with "Continue to calendar" or open the link to Cal.com; before that, no data is transmitted to Cal.com. After that, your browser transmits technical data such as your IP address to Cal.com, as well as your name, your email address and the company you entered, so that the booking form is prefilled. If you book an appointment, Cal.com additionally processes the chosen time and an optional message and passes them on to us. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures at your request) and, for loading the calendar, your consent given by submitting (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG).
5. Cookies and analytics tools
Cookies
Our website uses technically necessary cookies that are required to operate the site (e.g. to store your cookie setting). These are set without separate consent, as they do not serve any personal analytics or marketing purposes.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there.
We only use Google Analytics after your explicit consent (consent mode). Analytics storage is only activated once you click "Accept" in the cookie banner; if you choose "Essential only", Google Analytics remains deactivated. The legal basis in this case is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by clicking "Change cookie settings" below or by using the corresponding link in the footer of every page.
Visitor analytics (company recognition)
With your consent we use our own visitor analytics to understand which companies are interested in our services. Only once you click "Accept" in the cookie banner does your browser load the corresponding script. Before that, and if you choose "Essential only", no data is collected for this purpose.
We process the pages viewed (address without query parameters, except campaign parameters "utm_*"), the page title, the referring page (domain and path only), time and visible time on page, the browser identifier (user agent) and your IP address. In addition, your browser stores a random visitor ID ("_tbid", cookie and local storage, 365 days) and your setting ("_tbc"), so that repeat visits can be linked. Form entries are not recorded.
From the IP address we determine which network it belongs to, for example the corporate network of a company. To do this we query public registries: RIPEstat (RIPE NCC, Amsterdam, Netherlands), the RDAP service rdap.org, which forwards to the responsible regional internet registry, and the reverse DNS service of Cloudflare. If the address belongs to an internet service provider, a mobile network or a hosting network, we discard the visit. We do not store the full IP address. Only the result per network range (/24 for IPv4, /48 for IPv6) is stored, for a maximum of 30 days.
Processing runs on Cloudflare Workers of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA; the database is located in the EU. A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare; any transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. We store recognised companies with the pages visited and times for 12 months and delete them afterwards.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future by clicking "Change cookie settings" below and choosing "Essential only". The visitor ID and setting are then deleted in your browser.
