About
the project.

Batteriecenter Ludwigsburg sells car batteries and vehicle parts through its own online shop to customers in the Ludwigsburg/Stuttgart area and beyond. Until March 2026 the shop ran without structured visitor analytics and without an active product data feed at Google – visibility depended practically only on random traffic.

The goal of the project: make the shop findable in a targeted way through SEO and Google Shopping – and use clean tracking to show what actually works. Start of the measures: April 2026.

At a glance

  • Industry: car batteries & vehicle parts
  • Online shop: batterien-ludwigsburg.de
  • Region: Ludwigsburg / Stuttgart
  • Campaign start: April 2026
  • Service: SEO, Google Merchant Center, tracking

The
requirements.

The shop had solid products, but hardly any chance of being found in Google search or on Google Shopping. The analysis turned up five points that defined the brief:

Five problem areas

  • No structured visitor analytics in the shop system
  • No active product data feed in Google Merchant Center – products didn't appear on Google Shopping at all
  • Revenue without a recognisable growth trend, more of a random up and down
  • Shop content not specifically aligned with the search terms around car batteries & spare parts
  • No tracking setup to measure the success of individual measures at all

Without visibility in organic search and without a presence on Google Shopping, even a good range stays invisible – which is exactly where the collaboration was meant to start.

The result
in numbers.

Since the measures started in April 2026, the visibility of Batteriecenter Ludwigsburg has improved noticeably across all relevant channels – here's the result after the first months (April to August 2026).

+521% Visitors (Apr → Aug)
+162% Revenue avg. before/after
+155% Google Ads clicks
+170% GMC impressions

Visitor development.

April versus August 2026 – without showing the exact numbers, but the difference speaks for itself.

Google Shopping & Merchant Center.

Since it was set up in April 2026, the product data feed has been optimized continuously – clicks and impressions on Google Shopping have risen significantly since.

What changed in the product feed

  • Initial product approval problems fully resolved – no more blocked products since
  • Organic Google search is the strongest external traffic source, ahead of direct visits
  • Alternative search engines and AI assistants such as ChatGPT already contribute measurably
  • Almost all Google Shopping traffic comes from Germany – the regional targeting works
  • Strongest shopping category by a clear margin: vehicles & parts, followed by electronics

The
execution.

A connected system instead of individual measures: content that pays into the right search terms, a product feed that's really visible on Google Shopping, and a tracking setup that shows what of it actually works.
